O primeiro álbum da banda, “Anatema”, é composto por seis faixas e trabalha com uma narrativa conceitual. A história mitológica e atemporal desenvolve o conceito da criação, destruição e a eterna reconstrução do mundo. Cada faixa sintetiza o sentimento dos protagonistas durante as batalhas travadas, as adversidades, a aquisição de conhecimento após um período de dificuldades, o eterno retorno de si.

A apresentação do CD será feita em embalagem tipo Digipack – também será lançado em LP duplo -, e apresentará uma série de imagens criadas pelo artista paulistano João Ruas, ilustrando a narrativa e o conteúdo sonoro. A intenção é que o ouvinte sinta o disco antes mesmo de escutá-lo, permitindo a interação entre música, artes gráficas e literatura.

The first album, “Anatema”, consists of six tracks and works with a narrative concept. The mythological and timeless story develops the concept of creation, destruction and eternal reconstruction of the world. Each track sums up the feelings of the protagonists during the battles, the hardships, the acquisition of knowledge after a period of difficulties, the eternal return itself.

The presentation of the CD will be made in Digipack packaging type, and present a series of images created by the brazilian artist João Ruas, illustrating the story and sound content – also to be released in vinyl LP format. The intention is that the listener feel the album even before listen to it, allowing the interaction between music, graphic arts and literature.

Criação das imagens :: Creating the images

Produzidas durante o ano de 2009 pelo artista paulistano João Ruas, as seis ilustrações, que fazem parte do álbum, foram criadas de acordo com a história desenvolvida pelo guitarrista Erick Cruxen para “Anatema”. Norteadas pelos fantásticos mundos dos jogos de RPG, mitologia antiga e conceitos de psicologia, as imagens ilustram os conceitos e os momentos da história, cada uma repesentando uma música do álbum.

Produced during the 2009 year by the brazilian artist João Ruas, the six illustrations that are part of the album were created according to the story developed by Labirinto’s guitarist Erick Cruxen for “Anatema”. Guided by the fantastic worlds of role-playing games, ancient mythology and concepts of psychology, the images illustrate concepts and moments of history, each repesenting a track on the album.
